About me

I have 30 years’ experience in publishing. I have skills in copywriting, publicity and PR, event logistics and marketing communications, but I  increasingly found myself drawn to the ‘details’ side of my job and became the ‘go-to’ person for proofreading and editing written and online materials.

In 2022, I therefore decided to retrain as a proofreader and editor to add to my marketing skills.  I am now a Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and have completed their following training courses:

• Proofreading 1: Introduction

• Proofreading 2: Headway

• Copyediting 1: Introduction

• Getting to Grips with Grammar and Punctuation

​My business name Keen-Eyed Kathryn arose from my initials (KEK) and hopefully gives a flavour of what I can offer!
